The premise of the book starts out like an x-file but quickly loses the "x-file" feel. Mixed with worthless extra characters and a few missteps in the characterization of Mulder and Scully only gives the book an "okay" rating. A new book from Philip Reeve is always something to be excited about. For me, he is on a par with Tolkien or Pratchett. The Mortal Engines quartet, its prequel, Fever Crumb series and the magnificent Larklight trilogy are amongst my favourite books, as is Here Lies Arthur. So I was expecting very good things from Goblins. For the most part, I was not disappointed/5(59). Goblin is korean series.
